How To Configure A Caching-Only DNS Server With PowerShell

Windows DNS Servers that are authoritative for the DNS zones you manage might start to see their performance degrade over time as requests from clients for non-authoritative zones increase. This creates extra work for the DNS servers in your enterprise as they often have to perform recursive queries on behalf of the clients. One way to offload these requests is to configure a caching-only DNS server in your environment. In this video, David will demonstrate how to install and configure a Windows DNS Server as a caching-only DNS server.
