How To Control Azure Compliance With Azure Policies

Azure policies are a great way to control compliance in Azure. There are a great number of built-in policies in the Azure console and it’s possible to create your own custom policies if one doesn’t already fit the bill for you. In this particular example, we look at how to create a policy that restricts the locations that resources can be created in and look at how exceptions to the policy are used for testing etc. This will show what happens when we try and create a resource that doesn’t fit the policy, and how it works when we conform to the standards.
