How To Copy Files Into A Microsoft Azure Storage Account Using PowerShell
At some point on your cloud journey with Azure, you will find that you need to transfer files that you have locally. Whether it’s configuration files, company branding, virtual disks, or even PowerShell scripts that you want to use in Azure Cloud Shell, you’ll need to get them up to Azure before you can make use of them.
In this snip, Josh will demonstrate using the Azure Resource Manager (AzureRM) PowerShell Module to authenticate against an Azure subscription (Connect-AzureRmAccount), identify the correct storage account (Get-AzureRmStorageAccount), and then transfer a collection of .ps1 and .txt files to Azure Blog Storage (Set-AzureStorageBlobContent).
