How To Create A Basic Amazon Web Services (AWS) IAM User And Authenticate With PowerShell
Creating an Identity and Access Management (IAM) user is essential to getting just about anything done in AWS with PowerShell. In this video, we’re going to cover using commands in the AWSPowerShell module like New-IAMUser to create a AWS user with PowerShell, find managed policies with Get-IAMPolicies, assign a managed policy to a user with Register-IAMUserPolicy and then finally we’ll create a new IAM access key with PowerShell.
By the end of this video, you’ll know how to create a basic IAM user and authenticate to your AWS account with PowerShell.
