How to create a basic Software Restriction Policy (SRP) via GPO

Software Restriction Policies (or SRPs) are a great way of locking down your workstations to prevent your users from infecting their machines, or from just running unauthorized programs. In this video we will show you how to use the group policy editor to create a starter Software Restriction Policy GPO. This SRP will stop any program from running unless you authorize it, whether it’s a printer installer, a new web browser, or something unexpected like a crypto infection.
