How To Create A Custom Role In Azure Using PowerShell
Role based access control is Azure’s way of controlling what users can see and do within the Azure console, and there are a set of ‘out of the box’ roles that are great for applying to some generic functions. However these become even more powerful when we look at creating customised versions of the these roles with just what the user needs and no more. In this snip we look at creating a custom role with Powershell and New-AzureRmRoleDefinition cmdlet. We look at the list of resource providers that are available and build up a list of what is needed to allow the user to see the information they require and even make changes.
