How To Create An Azure Monitor Action Group With PowerShell
Action Groups are a key part of Azure Monitor where we can group a collection of actions to take when an alert is triggered. We can have multiple alert groups for different emails or triggers or group them all into one, and all this can be automated. In this topic, we run through creating an action group with PowerShell. We look at doing this by using cmdlets like New-AzureRmActionGroupReceiver to create the receiver and use Set-AzureRmActionGroup to create the action group with those receivers. With just a few lines of code, we can quickly automate the creation of a new action group.
