How To Create And Configure An Azure DNS Zone And Records With Azure CLI
Azure DNS Zones is a quick and easy alternative to running your own DNS server and opening it up to the internet. In this example, we look at creating a new DNS Zone to host our domain name and look at adding records to the domain. We do this in the Azure CLI using commands like ‘az network dns zone create’ to create the new zone. From there we move onto adding A records and CNames to the zone, as well as testing them with an NSLookup. We finish up with cleaning up and removing the record, the zone and even the resource group we created it in.
