How To Create And Configure An Azure DNS Zone In The Azure Console
Azure DNS Zones is a quick and easy alternative to running your own DNS server and opening it up to the internet, DNS-as-a-Service if you like. In this example, we look at how easy it is to create a new Azure DNS Zone in the console and add some record to it. Once this is all created we test that the names are resolving and create a CName to point at one of the records. Once we are done, we have a fully working, and tested, domain with records and zones that are resolvable from the internet.
