How To Create And Deploy A CloudFormation Template To AWS
Amazon Web Services Cloud Formation is an exceptionally powerful service that can create infrastructure from templates. This service can be used to create anything from S3 Buckets to complex multi tiered infrastructure. In this video Nick will take you through the process of creating a simple template to create Amazon resources, this json template is a declaration of the resources that make up Amazon resources, in this context known as a stack. Once you have created a simple template, you will then submit it via the Cloud Formation service within the Amazon Web services console.
Prerequisites include: An Amazon Account (This demo is free tier eligible) A Linux EC2 instance running and configured for access via SSH (A T2 Micro instance and an Amazon Linux 2 AMI 2.0.20180924 x86_64 HVM gp2 image used in this video) Basic knowledge of Linux commands
