How To Create And Use Azure Resource Locks
Deleting resources in Azure is quick and easy, almost too quick and easy. This is where Azure Resource Locks come to save us. They allow us to lock devices from being deleted and make them read-only so that the settings can’t be adjusted. In this topic, we look at creating the locks on devices and run through what happens when we try and delete and edit a locked device. We also explore locking whole resource groups and all the resources in that group, making it quick and easy to ensure all our production resources are covered from accidents and errors.
Prerequisites include: An Azure subscription and some resources to lock.
