How To Create Calculated Columns In A SharePoint List And Modify The View Using The Group By Filter

In this video, Veronique will show how to create calculated columns in SharePoint. With a SharePoint “client orders” list already created, she will go through the process of creating the necessary columns (text, numbers, and calculated) as you would expect in a real-world scenario, then we’ll fill up that list and observe the results. Veronique will also show how you can modify the current view to filter this list either by order date or client’s name, using the “Group By” filter in the view settings. We’ll use SharePoint Online from Office 365 in this video, but the main process is the same when using SharePoint on-premises. Minimum permissions: Contribute
