Terraform enables you to create, change and improve infrastructure reliably and predictably, it’s open source and lets you create declarative configuration files that can be treated as code. (Infrastructure As Code). In this video, Nick will take you through the steps required to build an EC2 instance in Amazon Web Services (AWS). He will show you how to create the configuration file for a basic EC2 instance, then run ‘terraform init’ to download the AWS plugins and initialize the terraform environment and then apply that configuration using the command ‘terraform apply’. The final step will be to use ‘terraform destroy’ to remove the instance from AWS.
