Keeping up with your GPOs can be quite daunting, especially when you have a large forest with multiple domains and a huge number of group policy objects linked to many different organizational units. To start the cleanup, there are easy pickings, like finding GPOs linked to empty OUs. In this video, Anthony will show you how to use PowerShell to find GPOs that are linked to empty Active Directory OUs. He’ll go over using the Get-GPO command to find a GPO’s ID, then using Get-ADOrganizationalUnit to find the OUs it is linked to, and finally, using Get-ADObject to search for objects in each OU.
