How To Find Unlinked Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

Keeping up with your Group Policy Objects can be quite daunting, especially when you have a large forest with multiple domains and a huge number of group policy objects linked to many different organizational units. To start the cleanup, there are easy pickings, like finding GPOs that have no links. In this video, Anthony will show you how to use PowerShell to find GPOs that aren’t linked to any Active Directory OUs. He’ll go over using the Get-GPO command to find a GPO’s ID, then using Get-ADOrganizationalUnit to check to see if the GPO is actually linked to any OUs.
