How to install and use the CronTab module in PowerShell core on Linux
Like scheduled tasks in Windows servers, cron jobs are used on Linux based servers to run commands at certain times. The information for what to run when is all stored inside of a crontab file. Because this is such an important feature of managing a Linux server, it is only fair that we are able to manage this in PowerShell as well!
In this snip, Simon will walk you through the installation of the CronTab PowerShell module and the basic syntax for using it to manage your cronjobs.
