How To Install The AzureRM PowerShell Module And Authenticate To Azure

When you need to manage your Azure resources, you could use the Azure Portal if it’s just a quick one time task. If, however, you need to automate a more complex or repetitive task, you’re going to want to use PowerShell. Thankfully, the AzureRM PowerShell module is available from the PowerShell Gallery to assist you with your automation needs. You’ll just need to install the module, then connect it to your current Azure subscription.

In this video, David will walk you through the steps required to download and install the AzureRM PowerShell module using PowerShellGet and then connect and authenticate to your Azure subscription.
