Azure Resource Groups are a vital component for managing billing, access control, and monitoring your deployed resources in the Azure cloud. Being able to handle these assets via PowerShell is a critical skill as cloud deployment roles continue to expand. In this Snip, Nick will demonstrate how to create Azure Resource Groups with PowerShell using the New-AzureRmResourceGroup cmdlet. He’ll move on to show you how to modify resource groups with PowerShell using Set-AzureRmResourceGroup. Then he’ll show you how to remove Azure Resource groups with PowerShell as well as filtering and sorting of groups by using the Get-AzureRmResourceGroup and Remove-AzureRmResourceGroup cmdlets.
