Windows DNS Servers have a number of settings that you may wish to enable or disable depending on your DNS infrastructure needs. Round Robin and Netmask Ordering are two of those settings that are easy to manage but become difficult to scale to the enterprise when the change needs to be made on multiple DNS servers. PowerShell makes this task relatively easy. In this Snip, David will demonstrate how to view and modify DNS Server’s Round Robin and Netmask Ordering settings using PowerShell. Use of the Get-DnsServerSetting and Set-DnsServerSetting cmdlets are demonstrated during this Snip, using the appropriate parameters to set these options.
