So you need remote access to a Windows computer, it might be a new server that you have just set up or a remote desktop PC that you are troubleshooting an issue with, and you try a Remote Desktop connection only to discover it fails because it has never been enabled. If only there was a quick and easy way to remotely enable Remote Desktop.
In this video Matt will show you how using just a couple of lines of PowerShell you can both remotely enable Remote Desktop on the Windows computer and modify the Windows firewall to allow RDP connections.
Prerequisites include:
Administrator Privileges on the target server.
Minimum OS version is Windows 8/Windows Server 2012
PowerShell remoting available on the remote server
