How To Run Ubiquiti’s Unifi Controller Software As A Windows Service
Think you can do better? Show us!
The beautiful brains of Ubiquiti’s Unifi networking line is their Controller software. This is what enables you to go from one or two network devices to managing thousands of enterprise APs, switches, and security gateways over many different sites! And when you are dealing with large deployments, Unifi’s Cloud Key doesn’t cut it anymore. You need to start hosting your Controller on a dedicated server. In this video, Anthony will walk you through the configuration of the Unifi Controller software to get it to run as a service on a Windows Service. This way you no longer have to log in and manually start the software each time your server reboots. As a service, the software will start with your server automatically. Prerequisites include: Unifi Controller software installed on a Windows Server with Java 8 32-bit and 64-bit.
