How To Set Up OpenSSH On Windows

It’s a brave new world. SSH is not just for Linux anymore. In this Snip, Matt will walk you through the steps you need to start running an SSH server on your Windows system. After downloading the latest build of OpenSSH, you will see how to run the SSH installation script, add an SSH exception to the Window Firewall and use Set-Service and Start-Service to set the sshd service to Automatic and start the services. Finally, Matt will demonstrate how to set PowerShell as the default shell for the SSH service.
