What can I say? This is another Active Directory video by Anthony Howell. My fingers are wearing down to the knuckles writing descriptions for this guys’ videos. I’m just glad he doesn’t get paid by the video! I’d be out of a job.
Before we can unlock a user account in Active Directory, using powershell. We have to have the Active Directory Module installed and loaded. How many use the get-ADuser commandlet to look at this user and evaluate the locked out property now we can see that this user is locked out. To unlock them will use the unlock-ADaccount commandlet give it and give it the name of the user and now using the get-ADuser commandlet again. We can examine that locked out property and see that this user is no longer locked out that is how you unlock a user in Active Directory, using powershell.
